PS5 connects to Deco XE75 Wi-Fi but has no internet in Router Mode
Hi everyone,
I have a Deco XE75 system and I am having a strange connection issue with my PlayStation 5.
When Deco is in Wi-Fi Router Mode, my PS5 connects to the Wi-Fi network but has no internet access. All my other devices work normally in this mode.
The PS5 works fine with other routers/modems. If I switch Deco to Access Point Mode, the PS5 gets internet access. However, then most of my other devices stop working properly or cannot connect to the network. This includes my Google/Android TV, Mac, Bambu Lab P2S, and Brother printers. In Access Point Mode, the PS5 is basically the only device that works properly.
I have already tried several troubleshooting steps based on suggestions I found in forums:
- Restarted Deco and PS5
- Forgot and reconnected the Wi-Fi network on PS5
- Changed DNS settings, including Google DNS 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 and Cloudflare DNS 1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1
- Tested separate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks
- Disabled HomeShield
- Tried different Deco settings
The result is always the same. This behavior seems very unusual to me, because the PS5 works in Access Point Mode, but then many other devices fail. It seems to be related to Deco XE75 Router Mode, DHCP/NAT/DNS, or some compatibility issue.
Has anyone experienced something similar with Deco XE75? Are there any specific Deco settings I should change?
Thanks in advance.
