Model: Deco BE25
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: Latest

So, yesterday I bought two deco BE25 3600 and when connecting the second node through satelite I get very nice 1200+/1200+ speeds on the MAIN deco which is wired via Ethernet.

When the second node is ALSO wired via Ethernet, plugged into the same unmanaged Monkerlink 2.5Gig switch, or, via backhaul (plugged into eachtoher) my download speeds get cut in half, so on wifi i'd get 600/1200 on both nodes when wired by ethernet

I'd also like to  add whenever I get this weird bahaviour, Ultra speed mode becomes anavaible and says my device is not supported by it, but when second node is connected via satellite instead of ethernet, I get that same mode back to be avaible.

Hi,
You can refer to the instructions below for more details on the Deco Ethernet Backhaul. Usually, once the Ethernet backhaul is established, the Wi-Fi backhaul between Deco nodes will disconnect automatically.
Deco Ethernet Backhaul: Setup, Wiring Rules, and Troubleshooting

In the Wireless Network mode, selecting Ultra- Speed Mode requires the Deco nodes to establish 2.4 GHz backhaul. Since the Wi-Fi backhaul disconnects when the Ethernet backhaul is active, Ultra-Speed Mode cannot be selected when the Ethernet backhaul is active.

Regarding the speed phenomenon you reported, please confirm the following information for further analysis.
  1. For example, when the satellite Deco is wired to the main Deco, how do you test the download and upload speeds of the Deco nodes on your wireless client? Do you test your speed on www.speedtest.net?
  2. When only the main Deco is wired to the switch, and the satellite Deco connects to the main Deco via Wi-Fi, what are the download and upload speeds in the Deco app > Test Internet Speed page? When the satellite Deco is wired to the main Deco, what are the download and upload speeds in the Deco app?

Best Regards
