Model: Adapter
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.5 Build 20191114 Rel. 34543

Hi All,

I'd like to change the wifi channel on both my network extenders, which are RE300 and RE365.

They have chosen the most crowded channel in my location, which are channel 6 on 2.4Ghz and 36 on 5Ghz

I have changed the channels on the network that they are extending, but they are still using the crowded channels.

I don't find any way to change this in the web ui. It seems strange not to be able to change this very important setting. What am I missing?

Is there any way to change this?

@MP715 Good day. there is no option to change the wireless channel on the range extenders.

and you could try to change it on the main router and range extedners would auto sync from the router.

Thank you!

@gowger Extender will use the same channel as your router's. Then please change the channel on your router. Then extender will use the same channel too.

Thanks Kevin, very obvious in hindsight. I'm chaining the two extenders, and the middle one has a different SSID, so for some reason I thought this made it independent.

@Kevin_Z  what if the device is in high-speed mode? I want to change the channel on the 2.4 gigahertz Network
