@David-TP Any news regarding the update for the older hardware revisions?
Now that the weather is getting nicer again, the air somehow seems to carry wifi-signals better and my garage Deco sometimes (once or twice a week lately) decides to connect wirelessly instead of via the powerline ethernet... And then the poweline system connects "backwards" and everything becomes slow as hell.
I'd love to remedy the situation by manually configuring how the decos are supposed to connect. It's not exactly reasonable to have to fight a broken mesh system every once in a while And of course it always happens at the most critical moments...

On 09-09-2022 you informed the community that you were fortunate to announce that a firmware update full of rich new functionality had become available for the Deco M4 V4. We have now arrived in May 2023 and I am not at all happy with the fact that for me as the owner of a Deco M4 V2, despite all the promises, there is still nothing to notice about a firmware adjustment for the V2. And that while I paid the same amount for the V2 as the owners of a V4. I considered upgrading my M4 to an X50, but it turns out that this type has the same fiddling with hardware versions and firmware updates. Only the X50 V1 contains the full new functionality.
Regards,
Jaap Houtman

@David-TP We are coming in the middle of the year and so far no update to the M4 V2. The TP-Link company is getting worse and worse, I would like to at least have a date to know if it pays to wait or if I change the handset provider, because TP-Link will never be bought again.

I was in my local large retailer today, here in the UK.
I was disappointed to see that they had two 3 packs on display, both were V3.
Why are retailers still selling older models?
