Model: Tapo C200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.017

Detection parameters: Is there a way to reduce the number of seconds of recording after no movement detected?

In the tapo app, it's 6 seconds before it starts recording the motion and 60 seconds after it stops.
Maybe for the next update, it is possible reduce to 20 seconds after no motion detected or add a text box to enter manually the number of seconds?

I used another program and only 10 seconds was enough.

In the timeline you see a lot of gaps after the movement where nothing happens and you have to wait a lot until the next capture. Also the SD memory fills up very quickly.

Why does it record that amount of time?

Maybe the app needs enough time to record new consecutive movements, although with a new capture you would continue the scene.

Removing the gaps and only showing movements is very useful when you need to capture multiple short and fast events like a door entry.

@alvaro123

Thank you very much for your kind reply.

We would be glad to report your feedback to the senior engineers for further evaluation.

It would be very helpful to reduce the gaps after no motion was detected.

And if you have any other feedback, please feel free to update it here.

Thanks a lot and wait for your reply.
