Solution Disable OneMesh Hidden SSID on the 3G/4G modem
Hello everyone,
Some customers may report their Onemesh routers are emitting a hidden network, which makes them confused and nervous as they cannot turn it off manually on the router web GUI.
The hidden wireless network is used to build up the mesh wireless network system, and it cannot be detected by the common wireless devices. You can refer to this article for more details:
https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/stories/detail/728
Just like the existing Deco mesh package products, the specific hidden network with high-intensity random password can guarantee the security of the network. So no worries.
However, if you still want to disable the Onemesh hidden network on the router, we here provide a beta firmware for the MR600 V1 and MR200 V4/V5, customers can install this firmware on your device, then disable the Onemesh network manually via the web GUI.

For other models, we will add this feature in the near future. This will take some time, however, we hope you could wait patiently.
Note: We as always strongly recommend our customer upgrade their TP-Link devices to the latest official firmware, you can try the beta firmware posted by our TP-Link Admins/Officials unless the official firmware doesn't resolve the issue you experience.
Note:
1. Please check the device label to verify the country code and hardware version of your device first, and choose the correct file to download and install.
2. Be sure you have read the Terms and Conditions for TP-Link Beta Firmware before proceeding!

Yes, it works.
But on a stable firmware this action was not required to enter the web interface from a mobile device.
OneMesh shutdown changes violated the previous entrance algorithm. Maybe something else is broken.
On the last global firmware, everything works as it should, but there is no way to disable OneMesh.

Hi, I have a Archer MR600 V2.
I installed the specific beta firmware and rebooted.
Now I can see the Enable/Disable switch in the OneMesh section.
Trying to disable it, it seems it has no effect because I can still see the hidden signals on both 2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz bands forever.
Only after rebooting the router, it seems taking into account the new setting.
I think it is a bug,
After a reboot, if i try to switch on the mesh, after more or less 120 seconds, I can see the signals back again, without rebooting.
So only to disable the mesh it needs a reboot.
Another strange thing I noticed is that the reboot button in the upper right corner, actually doesn't reboot!
I simply logs me out, so I have to log in back again.
The reboot that works is under the system tools section.
But the worst thing I'm noticing is that I cannot connect to the 3G/4G network anymore.
I don't know if it is a coincidence or it depends by the new beta firmware.
I will check again tomorrow.
Thanks.
Regards.
Daniele

I replaced the beta version of the firmware with the latest official one and "magically" my router MR600 started to connect to 4G again.
So now I can say that the beta version isn't working.
Please fix it and do an official release.
Thanks.
Daniele
PS: to the forum administrator: please move my last two messages to the correct thread (for MR600). Thanks.

Hi, it seems that the WiFi in the list is not a hidden WiFi, please double check if the main WiFi or guest WiFi of your MR600 is still enabled or not.
In addition, the OneMesh hidden WiFi will not be able to detect by regular wireless client devices directly unless you use WiFi scanning application such as WiFi analyzer etc..
If the main WiFi or guest WiFi of MR600 has been disabled completely and WiFi LED off as well, please try to turn off the MR600 to see if that WiFi still exist.
