Model: HS210
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.2

We just replaced EVERY light switch in our cabin with either a single pole or 3-way KASA switch.  Then we connected them into Alexa with groups and scenes.  The main reason for this is to be able to control the lights from our home (3 hours from the cabin).

Last night power went out -- as it often does up in the mountains.  When it came on, HALF of the switches are LOCAL ONLY.  What the heck!  We can not run up the mountain to reset every switch each time the power goes out.  Case in point, it went out three times the week alone.

Not happy right now.  sad   Is there a fix to this??

WIFI is Eero Mesh with three extenders on Spectrum 400 Mbps line which we have had no issues with in the year since we set it up.  So this not a router issue --- definitely a KASA issue.

Hello,@BearfootChalet sorry for the late response,  kasa devices will try to reconnect to house Wi-Fi after power restores from an outage, if they did not do that

-  we're normally suggest rebooting the Wi-Fi router at that moment, may I know could you remotely reboot router?

- as main router is a mesh system, you may, could turn off mesh for the plugs or force plug to connect to certain AP/ Extender, or smart devices may roam beween different extender nodes and cause some trouble:

- make sure smart device got strong signal at its location:

Kasa app-> Device Settings-> tap name of the device ->signal strength ( tap on the Wi-Fi icon to see the value of the dBm/RSSI)
(-40- 70dBm is good to average, less than -70dBm is relatively poor : relocate device or router to get stronger signal)
