Or can P100 (EU version) be upgraded to have energy monitoring?

I live in Belgium, which uses the same plugs as France. And while French/Belgian and German plugs/outlets look very similar they aren't always compatible. e.g. you'll find that some plugs won't fit on our power outlets because the grounding pin won't fit in.
However, For the Tapo P110 devices, I can confirm that the German style of P110's which are easier to find than the Belgian ones, also work on our Belgian/French outlets. That is, because even though Germans don't have the additional grounding pin on their outlets, the plug of the P110 does have an additional grounding hole on the back to make it compatible.
Not all vendors are that clever, but apparently TP-Link is.
