sorry for the late reply. If you need to connect the Tapo camera to a new Wifi network, you will need to factory reset the camera for more than 5 secs, and click on the + icon in Tapo APP to add a new camera. In the camera set up process, camera will connect to a new wifi network and get service through new network.

You could try factory reset camera on the Tapo APP> tap the 'wheel' icon on right top of the Live view > Camera settings> Scroll to the bottom > remove camera, this will also factory reset the camera. 

To set up the camera to a new Wi-Fi network, usually it is recommended to put the camera closer to the router or ensure there is strong for the camera. 

Manually tilting the lens up is totally safe for the camera, and that is how the camera was designed. We often tilt the lens to insert the SD card or reset camera .
