Solution Failed to update to Kasa App 3.0 on Android

This issue described in this article has been addressed and fixed in the Android Kasa APP 3.0.2 released in Otc 4th, 2022. Please go to Google Play to download the latest Android Kasa APP.

Issue Description/Phenomenon:
TP-Link has released a completely redesigned version of the Kasa app, bringing much-requested features and quality-of-life upgrades. However, some users might found that it gets stuck at "Update Your Kasa" when launching the Kasa app on their Android phones, if they tap on "Update Now", it would navigate to the Google Play Store and displays as "Kasa is up-to-date".

Fixed on the Andriod Kasa APP 3.0.2 since 4th Otc,2022 please go to Google Play to download the latest Kasa APP.
Kasa app 3.0 is gradually released as per regions and TP-Link accounts, so not all of you detect this new app at the first stage, which is the reason why some of you experience the update issue. But no worries, there has been a pre-released Kasa app 3.0 APK for Android phones, it's suggested to uninstall the existing Kasa app on your Android phone, download and reinstall the pre-released version manually from the below link, then login to your TP-Link ID to manage the Kasa smart devices and find out all the amazing upgrades.
