Hi,

 

I'm trying to enter the price that my energy provider charges for the electric, but I can't seem to work it out lol.  Can someone please advise?

 

The company charges:

 

First 2 kWh each Day at 56.478p per kWh, thereafter at 30.545p.

 

But the Tapo app only allows 1 price.  When I do try and put in a price the total cost does not update.

 

Any help would be grateful.

Good day @roydz !

 

The new electricity rate will only be applied to the new-generated energy consumption (kWh) afterward, the previous data still use the old electricity rate.  

 

If the electricity rate has been changed, the formula to calculate your electricity bill is : 
Cost = (kilowatt-hours)  x (Old electricity rate)+ (kilowatt-hours) x ( New electricity rate)
