Tapo C320WS with Tapo H200
Tapo C320WS with Tapo H200

Hello,
Is it possible to record with a Tapo C320WS to a Tapo H200 hub?
I want to record outside, but store the video inside the house and i don't want to deal with battery charging.
Do you have any experience in it or any solution?
Best regards,
Thanks

@hTuyG56kk__ can you please release update that will facilitate hub recording for outdoor cameras. It makes sense and would allow me to expand my security system.

Hi,
After the firmware upgrade, the Tapo C320WS V2 now supports saving video recordings to the SD card inserted into the Tapo H200 when they are on the same network. You can refer to the following instructions to store the camera's video recordings on the hub's SD card.

If you want to see whether other Tapo camera models support saving video recordings to the Tapo Hub on the same network, it's recommended to review the information in the following FAQ or check the firmware release notes for your camera model on our official website.

For camera models that do not support saving video recordings to the Tapo Hub, it is advisable to save the recordings to the camera's built-in SD card. Alternatively, you can also stream the camera on a PC/NVR/NAS via RTSP/ONVIF protocol and store the video recordings on the PC/NVR/NAS inside the house if needed.
