Model: Tapo C320WS
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.5

Hello. I have many Tapo devices and TP-Link AX5400 router. Out of all my 9 tapo cameras, multiple identical C320WS EU V2.0 cameras constantly go offline for several hours a day with ot without home assistant integration. I saw on github in discussion of the same situation that there is beta firmware 1.0.9 Build 231013 Rel.41533n that solves this problem. Here is the link https://github.com/JurajNyiri/HomeAssistant-Tapo-Control/issues/362 . Can you send me this firmware? Those multiple C320WS V2.0 cameras are critical for my security setup.

Hi,
Please help confirm the following information to let me know your problem in detail.

1. Whether only the Tapo C320WS V2 has the offline issue? Are they connected to your router's Wi-Fi directly rather than a range extender/AP?

2. How about the LED status on the camera when it goes offline on the Tapo app?

3. How about the signal strength of the cameras? You can go to the camera's Device Settings>Device Info>tap the Wi-Fi icon to see its signal strength.

4. Please send me the MAC address of the Tapo C320WS V2 that has an issue via private message, and we can send the new firmware to your camera.
You can go to the camera's Device Settings>Device Info page to find its MAC address.

Best Regards

  @Solla-topee
Hello.
1) Yes, only C320WS V2.0 have offline issue. I have one C320WS V1.0, it works perfectly.

2) LED status is OK. The camera itself records detected events on internal SD card, etc. So, it's like wi-fi connection is lost.

3) Signal is strong, I have Archer AX73 (AX5400) and 4 range extenders Tp-Link RE315 in OneMesh configuration.

4) OK, I will send three MACs via private messages. At least three of those cameras are critical for my security setup, the others can wait for official release of firmware.

Hi,
The firmware(1.3.9) has been sent to your cameras, please update the firmware via the Tapo app for a try. Please ensure your camera is online to receive the new firmware.
How to update the firmware of the Tapo & Kasa devices on the Tapo App?

Best Regards
