Early Access KidShield Test Recruitment - Safeguarding Children's Online Experience
KidShield is a fantastic tool for parents who want to ensure their child's online safety. Unlike the regular HomeShield Parental Control, which only functions when clients are connected to home Wi-Fi, KidShield Parental Control surpasses this limitation. Additionally, even if clients enable Randomize MAC address, KidShield's safeguards remain effective. By using KidShield, you can foster a safe and secure digital environment, allowing your child to explore the internet while you maintain control and supervision.
Is KidShield free for users?
Currently, KidShield is in the beta test phase which is free.
However, after KidShield is launched officially, you need to subscribe to the Total Parental Controls Package to use it.
***At the moment, the option "KidShield Profile" is available exclusively to a selected group of users. However, if you're interested in this feature, please comment below or send me a message.
***If you are using Homeshield Archer Router series, please step into this thread-Post 667178 to start a trial journey.

I confirm that if somebody that we add to a parental group policy put random MAC, it bypass the parental group.
My kids just showed me that it was able to go on internet after the time that I programmed to cut it on the kids group.
So I need to find a way to block settings on they phone 😔

Thank you very much for the feedback.
Under the current KidShield settings, the "Bedtime" overpowers " Always Allowed Apps". I think it's not supposed to otherwise it is not accurate to call it "Always Allowed Apps".
It has been reported to the engineers and hope they could be improved later.
Best regards.

Then, I think the KidSheild might be a good workaround for the current issue.
Usually I will record the Recruitment applications first and compile the waiting list at the end of each month. Once submitted, users should be able to view KidShield on the Deco app within the following 2 days.
Thank you very much and best regards.
