tapo c220 keeps disconnecting(going offline)
My tapo C220 is kinda useless because it keeps going offline.
It is placed next to a c200 and they are both connected to the same wifi network. (from-43 to -50RSI)
c200 works like a charm while C220 disconnects while still showing solid green light.

Hi I have 8 Tapo cameras of which 3 are 220, others 210 and 200. Only one of 220 makes the disconectivity issue - green light stays on, the camera responds to ping, but it says it is offline. The SD recording stops when the camera goes offline, but the issue persist event without SD card. The signal is -46, there is tapo 200 next to it which works fine, I've changed the location and the power adapter, assigned permanent IP but nothing changes - the camera starts showing offline between 1-3 days after is restarted. My router is AC1900 but restarting it doesn't help, only restart of the camera helps. Should I return it for warranty repair or there is a way to change the firmware?

Here is one my C220 which has the same issue. Wifi is connected and I am able to ping the c220 cam but it doesn't work without hard reset.
Firmware 1.1.6. C220 Mac addr and signal strength is in the pic. Cam network ports also stop responding (80 and 2020).

Update on March 15, 2024.
Hi All,
The latest firmware(1.1.9 Build 240223 Rel.56143n) of the Tapo C220 has been released and it has solved the disconnect issue. It's recommended to update the firmware of the Tapo C220 to the latest one if your camera keeps going offline.
How to update the firmware of the Tapo&Kasa devices on the Tapo App?

Hi All,
If your Tapo C220 (with the firmware 1.1.4 or 1.1.6 version) keeps going offline on the Tapo app, please help confirm the following information for further analysis.
1. Please describe your network diagram in detail, such as the internet cable--wireless router)))(((Tapo Camera, phones, etc.
What's the model number of your router? If you have other Tapo cameras, are they working fine?
2. Confirm the LED status on the camera when it shows offline on the Tapo app.
3. Send me(@Solla-topee) the Forum ID 645544 and MAC address of the problematic camera via a private message.
4. Confirm how you get the camera back online after it shows offline on the Tapo app, such as rebooting the camera will recover its connection, or you need to factory reset and reconfigure the camera.
5. If you have a microSD card inserted into the camera, refer to the link below to collect the camera log, and let me know if you have collected it.

@Solla-topee Sorry for the late reply but the seller agreed to replace my camera so I don't need actions from the support team anymore. I couldn't wait for possible solution with custom firmware because i need it working ASAP.

@Solla-topee Thank you, i have installed new fw (1.1.8) on the affected c220 cam. I will keep you posted on how it goes in next few weeks.
Another issue noted in C220. The camera labels (On-screen display settings > Display text) is not saved across reboots. It will reset to 'IPC' label on reboot. On my other tapo cams like TC70 and C225, this label is persistent across reboots.
