Hi,
The Tapo H200 needs to connect to a power socket to work and does not have a battery backup. It's recommended to connect the H200 to a stable power outlet to prevent frequent power outages that will cause the camera's video to fail to be saved to the SD card.

If a thief tries to break in and cuts the main power line from outside, it becomes completely inoperative, and the entire Tapo network can be sabotaged.
