Firmware Version:

While removing the slot cover to insert a micro sim card I lost one of the set screws. Where can I buy a few replacements or does anyone know the screw size and thread?

  @Shadow2

Hi,
You can refer to the UG(Page 12) of the Tapo C500 to see the size and thread of the screw, the screw is the same as the one used on the Tapo C520WS.
Best Regards

  @Shadow2  hi, maybe you can refer to the size and thread of the other screw of the slot cover, the two screws should be the same.

Thanks for the suggestion but I had already rejected that solution. This camera is mounted under the eves and accessible only with a ladder. At 82 years old and recovering from double bypass and cancer surgery I figured I need to restrict the number of times I climb up a ladder to insert a missing screw. The easiest way would be to get the screw first then climb the ladder and insert the missing screw in the hole to secure the cover. It would have been nice if Tapo had designed the cover so the screw could not fall out as I suspect I am not the only customer who had this happen, but that is a different story. One trip instead of two does not sound like a lot, but considering my health condition it could prove significant. Someone must know what screw is needed so I will wait a little longer before I look for a different solution. All input is appreciated so again thanks.
