Pet Detection not Working
I have a wall mounted C420S1 camera mounted less than 10ft as recommended from the ground with Person, Motion and Pet detection enabled. However, all notifications I'm getting are for either person or motion detection, but nothing for pet detection. So even though my pets cross within the camera view regularly, nothing is triggered. I've increased the sensitivity for pet detections and allowed activity and rich notifications for all three detection types. Is this a known issue or is there something you can recommend to fix?

Unfortunately, I have the same issue with a C410.
Settings are correct, and so is the placement/installation. It only detects my pet in about 5% of cases.
I've also tried contacting the support, the agent promised a follow up but I never heard back.
Pet detection is the main reason I chose this product....

2. On the Tapo camera's Device Settings>Detection>Wake-up Sensitivity page, you can tap the Detection Range Test to check your camera's activity detection zone, and you can check if your pet moves within the zone.

I have done the test and indeed my pet moves within the zone. I kind of knew that already, as very, very infrequently gets detected there.

You can increase the Wake-up Sensitivity value and check if it helps.

@Solla-topee I have 3 C520WS, pet detection was working before and after firmware upgrade it is not all not working.
Can you help us. The current firmware version is Version 1.2.8 Build 240606 Rel. 39146n.

1. Please describe the problem phenomenon in detail, such as the camera can't detect pets, the camera detects a pet as a person, etc.
2. On the camera's Device Settings > Detection page, send me a picture of this page and a picture of the Pet Detection page.
3. Can you share a video showing the reported issue?

1. the camera can detect person and person in moton but not pet.
2. please see the setting attached and the pet in the picture that was not detected.
3. no video for pet detection.
