Hi,

I use c520 ws tapo camera with lastest firmware and lastest Tapo app from play store(android). My tapo can detect motion or anything that I was setup but the blue detection frame with label (such as motion or person or whatever it can detect) is disapear in both live view and playback.

I try to update camera and restart camera serveral times but the detection frame is still disapear.

How can I get the detection frame with label back as previous I first used?

After I turned on "Tag on", the blue detection frame is back now. I confuse with tracking object feature.

Hi,

Please help confirm the following information for the reported case.

1. Have you received detection notifications when the camera detects events?

2. If you have inserted an SD card into the camera to store video recordings, what's the model number, capacity, and format of the SD card?

Please go to the camera's Device Settings>Storage and Recording>Recording Schedule page and send me a picture of this page.

3. Go to the camera's Live View>Playback & Download> Playback >SD page and send me a picture of it.

1. Yes, I have got notification normally

2. sandisk high endurance 256gb, I format sd card with Tapo camera

Hi,
Thank you for the pictures provided. The pictures display the camera's detection and recording feature work fine.
What blue detection frame with label are you referring to? Do you have a picture to show the feature/effect you want on the camera and Tapo app?

Once I first used tapo, I could see the blue frame detection with label of its. Here is example I captured from youtube.
