“Home” positions
It would be amazing if the camera had some sort of "home" position where after it tracks someone to another location, instead of staying at said location if it could automatically move back to a set position after the movement was captured.

Hi,
Usually, the camera will rotate to the original position where you enable the motion tracking feature after it tracks an event and not detect a new event after 30 seconds.
For your request, you can set the Smart Action>Automation feature on the Tapo app for a try.
How to create Smart Action (automation or a shortcut) of my Tapo devices?
Trigger:
when the Tapo C520WS detects an event
Action:
1) Delay the set time(such as 1 or 2 minute)
2) Pan & Tilt Control>rotate to the specific viewpoint.
Best Regards

I had the same problem on a TC40 camera x2
Found the solution for the TC40 camera by :
Updating to latest firmware.
Using PTZ get the camera into your default position and leave it for 5 minutes in that position. Maybe turn off motion tracking for that time.
Reboot and, leave 5 minutes to restart and hey presto the last position is now the default position.
When it tracks and looses the motion it returns to the default position within a couple of minutes. Well it does on mine. Tried it several times and hasnt failed yet.
Good luck.
