C210 Firmware updates
C210 Firmware updates
I have 2 new C210 indoor cameras, one of them is running 1.4.0 firmware and the other is on 1.3.11 and both show as Hardware Version 2.0
I checked the Download page for the C210 but it show no information about firmware for the Hardware Version 2.0?
On my 1.3.11 version when I check for firmware update it says it is already on the latest.
Is this another slow firmware rollout that will eventually be fully released?

Yes, the new firmware 1.4.0 for the Tapo C210 V2 is rolling out and some of the cameras can't detect it now. Please wait patiently, and it will eventually be fully released.

Same here, I bought 3 Tapo C210 V2 and only one proposes the new 1.4.0 firmware, very strange ...
As the possibility to fix the ip address is a good thing, I would like that my others C210 V2 get the firmware update ...

@rvenegas Nope. This firmware(1.4.0) does not include the support of this feature.

Hi,
Typically, we recommend waiting for the official firmware to be released automatically to your camera, and then you can update it via the Tapo app.
If you have any special scenario that requires the use of the new firmware soon, please describe the usage scenario, and I'll forward it to the relevant team for evaluation.
