Hi,
The cameras you sent to us have been updated to the new firmware already. Would you please double-confirm if they are the cameras have an issue?
Best Regards

Hi, I can double-confirm the issue is still there using the latest beta software. It is improved for sure, but not solved. I reported it in this comment.

Hi,

I have similar problem: only Person detection is on, after a person detected the cam goes to random positions.

Any solution?

Hi,
Thank you for the MAC address provided via a private message. Your camera's firmware is up to date, which has solved the reported issue.
If your camera still has a problem returning to the original position after motion tracking, would you please send us a video showing the issue? You can upload the video to your cloud server(such as Google Drive), generate a link to download it, and then send me the link via a private message.
Best Regards

Hi,
1. What's the original position of the camera's motion tracking feature(The position you enabled the motion tracking feature)? You can send us a picture of it.

2. Can you send us a picture of the camera's Device Settings > Detection page and a picture of the Motion Tracking page?

3. In the video you provided, did the camera just track an event and not return to its original position?

Best Regards

Hi,

1-2. Screenshot created. I sent a link for downloading via PM message.

3. No. The CAM recognize the person and immediately goes to random positions. There are some more videos in the link.

I set the cam on my laptop as well accordink to this: link. Can this SW cause this behaviour?

Hi,
1. Please go to the Tapo app > Camera's Device Settings > Advanced Settings > Camera Account page to turn off this feature for a try.

2. If the problem remains, we recommend submitting a support ticket via email for efficient assistance. Please include your Forum ID(714404), community nickname, a detailed description of the issue, and the troubleshooting steps you've taken in the subject line or body of your email. Thank you.

Best Regards
