C520WS records Mist for Hours and it looks like Snow !

 

My only work around is to set the Night Time Mode to infrared as the SMART and Full colour options will result in recording hours of Snow when it's just a little Mist.

I have asked Tap support to consider updating the firmware to handle this condition i.e let the SMART mode switch to infrared when needed and back again when Misty condition has gone.

 

Anyone else got an alternative approach ?
