Tapo C100 a bunch of problems??

Model: Tapo C100
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.17

I bought 4 cameras C100 - V1 variant, 2 of them work normally and get enough wi-fi signal, while the other 2 half meter from router have minimum signal of bars.

In addition, all cameras are on fir. ver. 1.0.17, but only one camera offers me a message to update the fir, and the other 3 do not show this message.

And what,s more, the camera that shows the update message does not want to update to another version?

Is there any solution for cameras with a poor signal and solution to manually update the firmware on all 4 camera, thank you.

  @xtimex

Hi,
Please confirm the following information for the reported issue.
    1. Please describe your network diagram in detail.

    2. If two cameras are half a meter away from the router but the signal is bad, it's suggested to confirm if the camera connects to the router or another AP that has the same name as the router. You can enable a 2.4G guest network on the router and connect the camera to the guest network Wi-Fi for a try.
If there are any obstacles between the camera and the router, move the obstacles if possible.

    3. How about the LED status on the camera? It may be the camera connects to the router's Wi-Fi but does not connect to the internet or our cloud server, so it can't detect the new firmware.

Best Regards

  I sent "broken" cameras back to the dealer, the other two have been working normally since the begining.

   Btw, what about with message of update, which is nowhere sight?
