Model: Tapo L630   Tapo C200   Tapo RV30
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Is it possible to create a parallel wifi network to run all tapo devices on? This network would be offline all the time, not connected to the world wide web. I would like to do this due to security concerns especially because there is no way to disable microfones on the cameras.

This wifi network should be offline, but is it possible to make it that if I'm home and connected to my main network (that would be connected to internet), i would be able to control my devices? As in, that i would not have to go to my settings and first select the other network.

Besides bulbs and cameras, I would also like to run my rv30 vacuum, smart plugs and other sensors as the door sensor or remote buttons.

I do not have an issue with not being able to see or control these things if I'm not home.

I'm completely unknowledgeable in all things networking. So apologies if my question is not relevant.

To control a local Tapo smart device, the smartphone (Tapo app) should connect to the same WiFi subnet as the smart devices. You may check if your router supports similar setups, or consider putting all devices under the same network then disable internet access on smart devices.
