Hello All,

 

I got a C225 camera which currently using v1.0.7. I found seem there is security issue and would like to upgrade firmware to v1.0.11 which is latest version.

However, Once I tapped upgrade firmware and completed, and it is able to click check upgrade and show the availiability of v1.0.11 again. 

Obviously that the firmware upgrade is fail. And I tried to restart the camera and switch off the power of camera then retry on upgrade, it still fails and version is still keeping in v1.0.7

 

May I know if there is any advice on this issue? As my camera is linked with my NAS and dont want to reset it as it may take time to reconfigure in NAS.

Hi,
You can refer to the following instructions for a try.
    1. Check the connection status of the home router, and ensure the router has a stable internet connection.
    2. Move the smart device closer to the router.
    3. Reboot your router, and disable the firewall, antivirus, and ad-blocker settings on the home router.
    4. Reboot your camera again.

hello, the cam is right front of the router.

Connection is very good even I remote from outside.

 

Also I have tried before as follow:

1. Unplug the camera

2. Reboot router

3. Wait around 20 mins 

4. Plug the camera again

 

still not able to complete the upgrade. To provide more specific on the reprod step, you can refer the following step:

 

1. Go to app > setting > firmware upgrade

2. Show v1.0.11 firmware

3. Tap upgrade button

4. Completed and show upgraded but check upgrade button still there

 

5. Tap check upgrade button

6. Observe v1.0.11 firmware is available to upgrade again

7. Go to device info and confirmed that camera is still v1.0.7 

 

i have no idea why stucking on the upgrade as i do nth when processing upgrade. Please advice. Thanks

Hi,
1. Please send me(@Solla-topee) "Forum ID 720888 + camera's MAC address" via a private message.

2. If there is an SD card inserted into the camera, remove it temporarily.
3. Disconnect the RTSP/Onvif connection with the NAS for a try.
