hello,

 

there is a camera installed to observe a flat in another land. I shared the using with one of my family members, which installed the app as well.

Each observer could have a look from own devices.

now my family member has accidentally deleted the camera from the app.

the camera is gone on my Phone app too and we are thousands of miles away from there to be able to reconnect.

how is it possible, that someone who is the one who is registered, uses the camera and shares has no chance to prevent a permanent deletion of the camera in my app?

is there any way to get it back?

help would be appreciated.

Hi,
Typically, if you share the camera with another TP-Link account refer to the instructions below, the shared account deleting the camera on its end won't affect your managing the camera with the owner account.
How to share my Tapo Smart Devices with family
 

However, if you share your owner account with other persons, they have the same rights as you. If they delete your camera from the Tapo app, the camera also will be removed from your Tapo app since the camera is unbound to your account.


It's unable to configure the camera remotely and requires one to go to the same network as the camera and then reconfigure it to make it work.
