Hi, 

 

My Tapo C200 was working well and suddenly offline on the app with only red light blinking. 

I power recycled, reset and removed deviced from app. 

 

I tried to re-add this device to app.

First time, it stepped at paring. Happened few times. 

And have problem with connecting Wi-Fi. 

My phone is connected in the same Wi-Fi netowork with TAPO, and I re-checked password that it is correct. 

 

I several times reset and tried. 

 

It was connected 5G Wi-Fi before. I think should be fine that I don't have 2.4G Wi-Fi. 

 

Please advise.

Hi, 
The Tapo C200 does not support the 5G network, and it can only connect to a 2.4G Wi-Fi. 

 

If you have a 2.4G Wi-Fi but can't set up the camera successfully, please refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot.
What should I do if I fail to configure Tapo Camera?

The Tapo C200 does not support the 5G network, and it can only connect to a 2.4G Wi-Fi.

  @Solla-topee i am having the same issue my c200mwas working fine then suddenly went offline. Tried to reset and setup but won't let me connect to my home wifi. Pls Help asap

Hi, 
You can refer to the instructions in this post to troubleshoot. If the problem remains, please confirm:

  1. When configuring the camera, what error message appears? Please list the troubleshooting you did and the results.
  2. What is the LED status on the camera after failing to set it up?
  3. What's the model number of your router? Does it have the same 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi names? If so, please set a different name for the 2.4G for a try. And please set the wireless security type to WPA2-PSK.
