Camera goes off line consistently C500
I have three cameras C500
one of my Cameras goes off line more or less same time everyday - 5am in morning and 10pm at night - this significantly compromises my family safety. I have reset, unplugged and changed WiFi frequency even changed WiFi. Nothing works. This is really bad!

Hi,
If the Tapo C500 goes offline every day at a specific time, it's more like a network settings problem rather than the camera has issue.
1. It's suggested to go to your router to check if there are special settings for the camera, such as parental control, access control, firewall rules, etc.
2. Please describe your network diagram in detail.
3. What's the LED status on the problematic camera? Is it connected to the same router's Wi-Fi as the other cameras?
4. You can try to enable a hotspot Wi-Fi on your phone, factory reset the camera, configure it with another phone, connect it to the hotspot Wi-Fi, and then check if it will work fine for a day.

I have this issue as well. My Tapos C310 and C220 are fault free but the C500 needs constant resets. They are all at my cabin about 1 hour 30 min drive away so Its nothing that Ill do just for fun but its really bad that this camera fails. Ive bought another C500 that I intend to install at a different corner. I hope it doesnt fail as often.
Model: C500

Hi,
You can refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot if the camera keeps going offline.
What should I do if my Tapo smart device keeps losing connection or going Offline?
On the camera's Device Settings > Device Info page, you can tap the Wi-Fi icon to see the RSSI value. If the camera keeps disconnecting from home Wi-Fi, please pay attention to its signal strength.

@Solla-topee But isnt it fairly strange that only one out of 3 always have the same problem? They are spaced differently but they are all within really good distance of my acer ax3000 router.

Hi,
It's hard to say why the Tapo C500 has an unstable issue when connecting to your router from the information provided. Please confirm the following information if you are willing to troubleshoot the issue.
1. Refer to this post, please list the troubleshooting you did and check the RSSI value of the Tapo C500.
2. What's the LED status on the C500 when it goes offline on the Tapo app? How often does the issue occur?
3. You can try to swap the locations of the Tapo C500 and C310, then check if the C500 will work fine.

Hi,
We need more information to address the cause of the connectivity phenomenon. Please confirm:
1. Your network diagram, such as the internet -- wireless router )))((( Tapo camera, etc.
2. What's the model number of your router? Is the Tapo C500 connected to your router directly rather than an AP/RE?
3. On the camera's Device Settings > Device Info page, please tap the Wi-Fi icon to check the RSSI value. If the RSSI value is too weak(less than -70dBm), it's recommended to move the camera closer to the router and check if it will work more stably.
4. When did you buy the camera? When did the camera start going offline?
5. What's the LED status on the camera when it goes offline?
Best Regards
