Hi,
Please note that not all Tapo cameras support connecting to the H200 or storing video recordings on the SD card inserted into the hub. And this FAQ may be helpful: Tapo Smart Hub Compatible Camera List
The Tapo C520WS currently does not support connecting to the H200 or storing video recordings on the SD card inserted into the hub. It's recommended to pay attention to the Tapo C520WS's firmware release notes on the official website to see if the new firmware will support these features.

Hi,
The dates in the table are the expected release dates for the new firmware, but because the new firmware may encounter unforeseen problems during testing, the relevant team may need more time to analyze and test before releasing it.
If you do not receive the new firmware by April 2025, it is recommended to pay attention to the updates on the Tapo C520WS's firmware release notes page on the official website.

Hi
I have got the v2 hardware version of the 520ws and saw in the release notes that it mentions "1. Enhanced connection stability when connected to Tapo Hub."
so is it safe to say that the v2 hardware supports the tapo hub especially the "Tapo Tp-Link H200 Smart Hub" or "Tapo Tp-Link H100 " ?
if so then would i be able to use it as a storage device to store the recordings ?
thanks

Hi,
1. I have confirmed the information with the relevant team that the Tapo C520WS V2, 1.0.5 Build 250211 Rel.60815n currently does not support connecting to the Tapo hub and storing video recordings on the SD card inserted into the hub.
I'll forward your feedback to our team to correct the release note.
2. Please note that the Tapo H100 can't work with Tapo cameras and it does not have an SD card slot to insert the SD card.

I found my self in ghe very simillar situation. Baught 2 CW520WS cameras and one of them happens to be in hardware version v1and the other in v2. No need to mention that when buying cameras nobody give a choice (I dare to say that on the retail side nobody is even aware of such differences). Your release notes indicate that last release was done in 2024, which obviously is not true, as devices contains software from march 2025. And the pointed error in the compatibility table mentioned in threads above is still not fixed. Oh, and more thing, where on your product website can I find any docs about v2 hardware camera. You are selling this stuff so it must be there, right?
Currently I have 8 of tplink devices and so far everything was smooth. Yet the situation with these cameras, their versions, your documentation mess, your poor product information (seriously, I buy a hub that connects all your devices but I need to check if the particular one is compatible?) drops a shadow on the great experience so far. I am left with the hardware that does not meet my needs and is therefore not fully functional.

Hi,
In your case, you can find the Tapo C520WS's information on this website. In the meantime, I'll escalate the information you report to the relevant team to update the information on your region's official website.
Currently, the latest firmware of the Tapo C520WS V1 & V2 supports work with Tapo Hub(such as H200 and H500).
