Shared Camera Notifications

Hello,
my grandmother shares her front door camera with me. However, I'm always getting notifications pinged on my iPhone and Apple Watch, which is pretty annoying. The other day, she had workers in her garden and I had over 100 notifications in a short time. For it to stop, I can only disable notifications app-wide which then disables notifications for my devices too. Either that, or I need to repeatedly log out my account to access hers and turn her notifications off and on — which is also a bit frustrating. Is there a way to make this less tedious? If not, then it would be great if people with shared devices could go into their settings and decide whether they receive notifications on their end for that device or not, without affecting the notifications of the owner. The owner would still receive notifications on their end as normal but the person with the shared device on their account would dictate whether they receive them.
Thanks!

Hi,
In your situation, if you do not want to receive the notification from the camera but the owner account won't be affected, on your Tapo app > Me > Notifications > Management page, you can turn off the option for the camera.

@Solla-topee Amazing! Thanks very much.
Maybe the option could benefit from being moved to the settings area of the device you access with the gear icon top right? It's kinda buried away and hard to find. When you go into the settings on the device using the gear icon, you see the greyed out "notifications" option which makes you think you can't interact with them.
thanks again!

Hi,
The Notifications feature on the camera's Device Settings belongs to the camera's settings, and the settings will sync on all mobile devices used to manage the camera.
However, the Notifications settings on the Tapo app > Me page belong to the app settings, which only apply to the Tapo app on your phone. So, if you do not want to receive the notification from the camera on your phone only, you can turn off the notification option on the Me > Notifications page.

@Solla-topee I understand now that it was explained, thanks! I'm just saying, my first instinct was to check inside the device's settings cause that's where I had initially seen "notifications", so naturally expected it to be there. Since each device has its own "notification management" toggle, some might benefit from the toggle being moved or copied to the notification area of the device it affects, so they can easily find it first time they look. I can understand why it's in the "Me" section since it's personal notifications, separate from device notifications, its just "device settings" are probably the first place people will look for it so maybe it should be there too. Just a suggestion!
Thanks!
