I need to change the email address associated with my TP-Link account because I have migrated all email communication to another email address.

 

I know the TP-Link website doesn't support changing login id (it should, like most other companies' websites but it doesn't). Nevertheless, TP-Link can't tell their customers to keep their old email address just because TP-Link can't change login ID. So there must be a workaround.

 

Since the Tapo app on my mobile phone is associated with my old email address, I think my cameras are somehow also associated with the old email address (although I don't see any such records on the website).

 

If this is true, is it possible to migrate all my cameras to a new email address if I open another TP-Link account with the new email address?

Hi,
Typically, after logging in to the Tapo app with a TP-Link account and configuring a Tapo device in the app, the device will be bound to the TP-Link account.

 

If you want to bind the Tapo device to a new TP-Link account registered with a different email address, you can factory reset the device, log in to the Tapo app with the new TP-Link account, and then reconfigure the device within the Tapo app.
