Model: Tapo C310  
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.4.2

after fitmware upgrade to firmware version 1.4.2 .  I have started having  issues in my camera C310 v2, in toggling from night mode and day mode. 

 

This issue is not present on C310 V1 camera on 1.4.2 firmware.

 

The older firmware version were working fine from last 2 years for all cameras.

 

I have to reboot the camera to get the correct night mode or day mode changed.

 

Please fix the issue and release a new firmware

Hi All,
The new official firmware (
1.4.3 Build 250610) for the Tapo C310 V2 that resolves the issue has been fully released. Please update it via the Tapo app to solve the day/night mode auto-switch failure issue.

I facing the same issue with Tapo C310 model, it happen after fw 1.4.2 loaded.

Yep everyone is right now sadly and support seems useless.
It shouldn't have even had that night/day auto code messed with. The update had no mention of anything related to that part of the firmware code.

Its a quick fix, 2 hours tops to correct the auto code and put the firmware, ever they got some bad coders doing this firmwares or they don't debug them after beta testing.

Hi All,
The new official firmware for the Tapo C310 V2 that resolves the issue is being released gradually. You can pay attention to the firmware update notification in the Tapo app and update the new firmware promptly when notified.

Today, I recived firmware upgrade request on only one of my c310 v2 camera on 1.4.2 

Fiirmware got changed to 1,4.3 ; I now have to verify if day night toggeling is correct or not

 

pleaee note that on my other 2 cameras (c310 v2 on 1.4.2 fwr) I have still not recieved fwr upgrade request

Hi,
Since the official firmware is being released gradually, you may see that some of your cameras are receiving the new firmware, but some are not. Please wait patiently for the latest firmware to be released to your other cameras.

New firmware 1.4.3 performed well on 1 camera. Firmware 1.4.3  is now uploaded on other c310 v2 cameras also.

 

I will monitor it 2 days and provide inputs.

Still waiting on mine. C310 V.1.4.2 build 250425. Not one update has came and i'm already sick of manually switching. Should of forced a full update not bit by bit. The most stupidest thing one can do.
