SD Card reinitialize after power cut
SD Card reinitialize after power cut

I recently bought 2 cameras, Tapo C320ws and C520ws, and two sd cards Sandisk High Endurance 256gb, now there is an issue that whenever there is a power cut, the sd card on 520ws gets initialized again die to which i have to format it again and i lose my recordings. The 320ws is working perfectly. Please help in resolving this asap.

Hello @Solla-topee,
I am joining this thread because I just have experienced the same issue as mentioned by the previous members/users.
In my particular case I have 4 Tapo C225 cameras with HV: 1.0 and FV: 1.1.3 Build 250731 Rel. 51367n.
They are all equipped with SanDisk 256GB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Memory Cards.
Removing the card and reading it with the integrated SD card reader on my Linux laptop works but the reading speed is abysmal. I will try to copy some of the videos and then see what happens if use a Windows PC to read the card.
I"ll post back as soon as I have the results.
Kind regards,
CCU

Please disregard the above!
Upon further testing, only 2 cameras seem to have been affected.
After using the Tapo app to format the affected memory cards, unplugging the power cable in order to simulate a power outage does not trigger the SD card non recognition.
The only difference between the affected and non-affected cameras as far as I could discern is the memory occupied on the SD cards.
The memory cards that were no longer recognized were almost full with one only having 8GB of spare memory (all cameras are set in loop mode).
