Model: Tapo H200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.1 Build 20250228 rel.27505

I recently purchased Tapo Hub H200 so that I can use it to store my Tapo Camera recorded videos using the hub's micoSD card.

I have the following cameras:

1. 2 Tapo C320WS (Hardware version: 2.0, Firmware: 1.3.5)

2. 1 Tapo C510W (Hardware version 1.0, Firmware: 1.3.3)

3. 1 Tapo C212 (Hardware version 2.0, Firmware: 1.4.6)

Previously I had updated the firmware on my cameras and found that they now support storing recorded videos on a hub. Hence, I went ahead to purchase Tapo Hub H200.

My cameras have been working fine since a few months. Also, I had set up the hub (it displays a green led now) and is connected to my network using both Ethernet & Wifi.

However, when I'm trying to set the cameras to save their videos to the hub, they're not able to find the hub (I get message "No available hubs").

The hub and the cameras are connected to the same network.

I read the following page https://www.tp-link.com/in/support/faq/4191/ and I understand that my cameras should support recording to the hub.

Hence, I find it quite dissapointing that my cameras are not able to locate the hub.

Kindly help me with a resolution.

Hi,

Typically, you will see the message "No available hubs" when the hub and cameras are connected to different networks. You can save camera video recordings to the SD card inserted into the H200 only if the camera and hub are on the same network.

If you're unsure whether the camera and H200 are connected to the same network, please verify the following information.

  1. Have you inserted an SD card into the hub?
  2. Please describe your network diagram, such as internet-- wireless router ))) hub, cameras, etc.
  3. Please check the IP addresses on the cameras and hub and send them to me. You can connect a PC to the same Wi-Fi as the camera. Try to ping the camera's IP address. If it succeeds, keep the Wi-Fi connection and check if you can ping the hub successfully.

Best Regards
