Please please please can someone help me before I scream. 
I have a C120 and C125 camera . 
How do I stop the blooming notifications constantly going off when I'm at home. It's constant and driving me mad. 
I've had different make cameras and never had this. 
it's driving me NUTS with all the notifications. I have dogs and every time they bark or move or I go into the kitchen my phone sends a notification. 
I've tried everything suggested. I've set the home and away option to turn off notifications when I get home , and even though I have to do this manually, it still doesn't work. 
The geofencing doesn't give the option of turning notifications on and off. If it does I can't find a way . 
 

Please help , there must be a way.

Hi,
On the Tapo app > Me > Notifications > Do Not Disturb page, if you enable this feature and set a schedule, then you won't receive notifications from the Tapo app during the scheduled time, including the cameras' detection notifications.

 

Or you can go to the camera's Device Settings > Notifications page to set a schedule to receive detection notifications only during the scheduled time.

that's a useless suggestion. 


Due to my work schedule  I'm not at home at set times. 
so if I set it for do not disturb  in the evening , I could be working that evening.  Same for daytime. 
Im often home in the day. But sometimes I'm not. Often going in and out.  So what do I do then.? 

So I have Do Not disturb set from 8am to 6pm. I then go out for 3 hours in the day and I need notifications for those 3 hours.  How does that work ??? 
As I say I have non regular work and social life. 
 

I need something where one click turns off notifications and one click turns them on. 
or geofencing turns notifications off when I arrive home. 
I can't think of anyone that needs notifications pinging when they are actually home. 
I've had another make cameras and Geofencing does just that. 
Keeps recording , but stops notifications. 
So whats the point of the Arrive home and Leave home

option on the app that I have ? It gives me the option to turn notifications on and off but it doesn't work ???

Hi,
Currently, Tapo cameras do not support adding automation entries to toggle the camera's notification feature on or off. In this situation, an alternative solution is to toggle the camera's notification feature on or off through the Home/Away mode. Below are detailed configuration instructions:

You mentioned that you previously tried setting up the Home/Away mode to toggle on/off the camera's notification feature, but it didn't work. If the phenomenon persists, please navigate to the Tapo app > Cameras tab > Home/Away Mode > go to a camera settings page, and take screenshots of the camera settings, especially the notifications page. Then, send the screenshots to us to check if the settings are correct.
Please also clarify how you tested that the Home/Away mode settings do not function as expected.
