After a certain amount of motion detection notifications, i stop recieving

Hi guys,
After a certain amount of motion detection notifications, i stop recieving notifications at all until I clear the current notifications. This is frustrating because I often miss when someone is at my house.

Typically, the Tapo camera's notification feature will continue to work until you turn it off. In your situation, please confirm the following information for further analysis.
1. Where do you clear the received notifications? For example, do you delete the received notifications on the Tapo app > Home tab > Bell icon > your camera page?
2. Where did you see the received notifications? Is it on your phone or within the Tapo app?
3. What's your phone's model number and OS version? What's the Tapo app version?

I would have to clear the tapo notification on the phone external to the app.
I have a Samsung a52s on Android 14 one 6.1

Hi,
Please go to the Tapo app > Home tab > Bell icon > your camera page to check if the new notifications are listed. If the notifications appear properly in the Tapo app but not on your phone until the old notifications are cleared, the reported phenomenon may be related to your phone's notification settings. We suggest contacting your phone support for further assistance.

Morning,
No the latest notifications aren't listed here. For my Right Camera for example it says my last notification is yesterday at 6pm. I
When I go the camera itself I have new detections this morning.

Hi,
What do you mean "When I go the camera itself I have new detections this morning"? Can you see the new detection video clips on the camera's Playback page, but no detection notifications in the Tapo app > Bell icon > your camera page?
If so, please check the detection types listed on the camera's Playback > detection video clips, such as Person, Motion, etc. And what Activity Types are selected on the camera's Notification feature settings page?

@Solla-topee hi yes when I go to the cameras playback the files are there. But the bell icon, the notifications aren't always there. I find this updates if I refresh.
All detentions are set for person and notifications are turned on for person.

Hi,
The latest Tapo app version is 3.14.112 for Android phones. Please uninstall the Tapo app on your phone, reinstall the latest Tapo app, and check if it helps.
If special apps are running on your phone, such as a firewall, antivirus, or VPN app, please try to force close these apps.
If the same phenomenon persists, could you please send us a video showing the reported phenomenon (there are video clips on the camera's Playback page, but no corresponding notifications on the bell icon) for further analysis?
