I have set Involved smart action within a specific schedule to track motion if only person or motion is detected otherwise the motion tracking option is off outside the schedule. The problem is even beyond the fixed schedule of the involved smart action the cameras keeps tracking motions.

Hi,
Usually, the camera will track an event only after the motion tracking feature is enabled. In the reported phenomenon, the motion tracking feature enabled outside the schedule you set may be because:

  1. The automation entries are configured incorrectly.
-- Please go to the Tapo app > Smart tab > Automation page, find the related automation entries, and send me the screenshots of the detailed configurations. I'll check if your settings are correct.

  2. The motion tracking feature is enabled manually.
-- If you have not done so, please check whether a family member or friend who has your TP-Link account has modified the camera settings.

  3. The motion tracking feature is enabled on the Home/Away mode settings, and after you apply the Home/Away mode, the motion tracking feature is enabled.
-- You can refer to the instructions "How to edit Home and Away Mode for Tapo Cameras in the Tapo app" to modify your Home/Away mode settings.

Best Regards
