  @David-TP ok, thank you for letting me know. I have used deco for almost a decade now and TP link in general for even longer. thanks for the welcome to the community. It's nice to see an active support forum.

Is there any reason to stay on 1.1.3 until 1.2.1 is public? It seems like 1.2.0 final still had some issues? Or is that resolved upon it becoming public release. Thank you so much.

for details my network has 3 BE65 Pro, 2 XE5300, 1 X50-Outdoor. Considering removing the 2 XE5300 but using them in far corners for now as remains from my old setup.

  @LowPing23

Hi, the 1.2.0 for Deco BE65 Pro(US) is already in public. As the firmware release rolls out gradually based on the MAC addresses and region codes, users might detect this version at different times.

It is recommended to update to 1.2.10 directly, which is supposed to be an optimized version of the official 1.2.0. If you run into any issues with this version, it can revert to the official 1.2.0 via web UI, or you could comment here, and the engineer would love to provide further assistance.

Best regards.

  @ASap  I am not sure if you solved your problem, but for me the issue was using the wrong kind of Ethernet cable. I can dig up the details if you need but basically after buying the right kind the Ethernet backhaul worked right away.

My previous cable wasn't broken and worked totally fine for example to connect a laptop to the router, but wouldn't work for backhaul

  @David-TP

Model: Deco BE65 Pro

Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version: 1.2.0 Build 20250718 Rel. 49740

My Deco BE65 Pro does not give out internet. All my devices connects to it but no internet. In the application I can do speed test and is able to connect to internet.

All the clients can't connect. The status is green light.

I already reset to factory settings and configured it as new network, still having issue.

I tried changing DNS to manual 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 still no luck.

Any solution to this? this is really annoying.

Mate, try the 1.2.10 Beta firmware. You'll have to manually download it, extract the zip file, log into your deco unit via your computer's browser and then install the firmware patch.

After wasting 1 year of my life with TP Link, I sold my device on Ebay, moved on to Ubiquity (if you want less fuss, go with Asus).

TP Link cannot provide support (my BE65 got 1 firmware  upgrade across the whole year) .. and treats their premium products like the cheap product lines.

Dont waste your time, give them to someone else who are not enthusiast or wants to play with their devices.

  @JRT25

Hi, it would be highly appreciated if you could start a new thread here with the following details:

  • Can I have the model number of the PoE security camera?
  • Is the POE camera directly to a POE switch, then the POE switch to the main Deco?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.
