Model: Tapo C120
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1

I'm getting "It looks like you've reached your device limit for playing this video" on the Android phone app. I have 2 Windows PCs accessing the camera's ONVIF feed, but if I close out the apps on both PCs I still get the message. I have rebooted the PCs, phone, and camera several times.

I have two other C120 cameras on the same setup without any issue.

I don't subscribe to Tapo Care.

"1. On the Tapo C120's Device Settings > Advanced Settings > Camera Account page, please turn off the Camera Account option."

This worked!

Thanks so much!

I think Tapo limit the length of time you can stream for to save on resources. I could stream my google nest cameras as long as I needed with no issue. Tapo seem to limit it. I tried to stream on my PC and google home and got the same message. Im still trying to get confirmation. Which software did you use for the ONVIF feed?

@SnosRap75 I'm using Agent DVR. But, even if I shut down the two sessions of Agent DVR, the Android app still gives the message. And it's just the one camera of three that is doing this.

Hi,
You can try the following steps to see if they help.
  1. On the Tapo C120's Device Settings > Advanced Settings > Camera Account page, please turn off the Camera Account option.
  2. Turn off the Tapo camera, wait for two minutes, and turn it back on.
  3. Force close the Tapo app on your phone, reopen it, and check if you can stream the camera properly.
Best Regards

Hi,
You can refer to the following instructions to see why you can't stream the camera continuously.
Why can't I view the live stream of the Tapo camera continuously?

If you want to stream your camera via RTSP/Onvif protocols, please refer to the following instructions.
How to view Tapo camera on PC/NAS/NVR through RTSP/Onvif Protocol
Note: The Tapo battery-powered cameras do not support the RTSP/Onvif protocols.

Best Regards

Went through the 3 steps--nothing changed. Still can't see the playback from the SD card.

Hi,
At any given time, only one device can view video recordings saved on the camera's SD card through the Tapo app. If you encounter the message "It looks like you've reached your device limit for playing this video" while trying to watch the recordings, it may indicate that another device is currently accessing the video.

It is recommended that you turn off the camera and wait for 5 minutes before powering it back on. Once the LED indicator shows a solid green light, attempt to access the video recordings again.

Best Regards
