Rich notification without Tapocare
Is rich notification possible without Tapocare if I have installed MicroSD card and enabled local recording?

The Rich Notification feature is available only after you subscribe to the Tapo Care service; it's not available after inserting a microSD card into the camera and enabling local recording.

When buying the camera C210 nowhere is written (box , amazon...) that to get snapshots is not possible without upgrading to TAPO CARE and pay extra money.
Advertisements and info make you believe that by buying a SD card you can get that feature in your phone.
To get a notification saying that a person has been detected it causes stress and most of the time it is just hanging clothes that move. So false alarm.
Since this notification system is not working properly, it would be compulsory to send a snapshot attached to the notification so we do not get worry unnecessary.
Also the services provided would be greater than what they already are.

It appears that the introduction and pictures of the Tapo C210's notification function on our official website are without issue. You can only see a normal notification without a snapshot.
For your feature request to have a free rich notification feature, you can vote and share your usage scenario on the thread "Rich notifications with snapshots (camera): Free for everyone" for evaluation.
