Hello, 

 

I have seen similar issues on this forum but never solved any other way then perform reset of camera. 

My camera keeps turning left. I am able to anyhow fight with it with holding/tapping right and it works well but once you stop manually pushing right it will go directly back to full left! 


When I have opened camera and tested it it worked very well. This turning occured outside when mounted on the wall. 

 

I would test once more to remove it from the wall if there is not any disturbance from anything over? 

 

I have tried to restart, unplug, reset from camera, reset from cellphone by removing the device etc. Nothing helps. 

 

Any ideas other than claim it back to supplier?

Hi,
Please confirm the following information about the reported abnormal pan feature.


  1. On the camera's Device Settings > Detection page, please turn off the Motion Tracking/Auto Tracking feature. On the Tapo app > Smart tab, please check if there are any entries related to the Pan or Tilt feature. If so, turn off or remove these entries for a try.

 

  2. If the same behavior occurs, could you please send us a video showing the reported phenomenon? 

 

You can upload the video to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.
