Notification says tye wrong device name
Hi,
I have two TC60 cameras, one named "Office" and the other "Lounge".
When "Lounge" detects movement the notification I recieve says that the movement was detected by "Office".
When "Office" detects movement that's ok.
How can I sort this out?

Hi,
Typically, the notification won't display the wrong device name. In your situation, when you receive a notification says the motion is detected by "Office" but you think it should be detected by "Lounge", please click on that notification, will you see the live view page of the "Office" camera or "Lounge" camera (or video recorded by the "Office" camera or "Lounge" camera)?

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I can absolutely confirm that the notification was for the wrong device... I tested it (in both "directions") numerous times to make sure, before posting.
In the end I removed both cameras and reinstalled them with new names (a bit of a nuclear solution, but.....) and that fixed it.
Interestingly, all of my automations that refer to either of these cameras still work without me having to update them.

Hi,
If both cameras are working fine, it's recommended to keep monitoring them to see if they will continue to perform normally.
Usually, the smart action entry will update the device name itself if the device is working, so you do not need to update it manually after the device changes its name.
