Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.4.8

I have eight C210 cameras who normally record to the cloud and stopped around 1 pm today. Does this have to do with the Amazon outtage? I can view all of the cameras live, they just wont record.

 

I reinstalled the app

Firmware is up to date

Subscription is up to date.

I rebooted the cameras

All of the detection settings have been confirmed.

 

Is anyone having the same issue and is there a solution?

Same mine stopped last night... seems like its not us its something wrong with them

Hi,

There was a widespread outage affecting Amazon's AWS Servers. This outage lasted for quite a long time and impacted a large number of services and devices - beyond just Tapo and TP-Link.

 

If you experienced any abnormal or unexpected behaviors, difficulty setting devices up, or even trouble logging in, it was likely a result of this outage. During this outage, any recordings intended for the cloud would not have been saved. This is always the case with cloud-based recordings, No Internet Connection = No Recording.
