Why the BE85 does not allow LAN connectivity if my ISP internet connection is down? 

My ISP modem is connected via cable to 1 port in my DECO BE85. I don't have access to any of my wired connections via WiFi. I can only ping the BE85.

What's the solution for this? it just does not make any sense at all for a router to behave like this. Especially one with this price tag.

What color is the led on the unit? Did you set it up via the deco app? If yes did you set it up in router or AP mode?

It is more likely due to WAN/LAN auto-sensing

Could you please send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com so that I can check with the senior engineer for a workaround?

  @HelpFixDecoApp led becomes red if no internet. And the deco is in router mode and my ISP router acts as a modem only
