No sound but alerts broken glass
I've had the camera since August. Last week while away from home I kept getting an alert for broken glass. I checked and nothing was amiss (my dog would have been going bonkers had there been).
I tried disabling and re-enabling that alert which didn't work. I turned the sensitivity down. It still kept alerting every minute or so.
At that point I remote rebooted and it stopped. Later at home I replayed some of the video and there was no sound recorded at all till after the reboot.
The camera worked fine for a few days. Today it did the same thing but not as bad and stopped alerting on its own. Still no sound till it stopped and then everything was like normal the rest of the day.
I have the most current firmware.
Has this happened to anyone and what was the solution?

Hi,
Please confirm the following information for further analysis.
1. On the camera's Device Settings > Storage & Recording page, please ensure the Record Sound option is enabled.
2. Have you stored the camera's video recordings on the inserted SD card?
3. What's the MAC address of your Tapo C225? You can find it on its Device Settings > Device Info page, and please send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.
4. Please send me the time, date, and timezone of the last time you received the Glass-Breaking detection notification. Then, send us the corresponding video clips for analysis. You can upload the video to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me via a private message.
Best Regards

Hi,
It's unable to remotely access your camera after receiving the MAC address. I want the MAC address to check the version info and other relevant info for analysis of the reported phenomenon.
In your situation, if you want to continue troubleshooting, it is recommended to send an email to forumsupport.usa@tp-link.com (if you are in the US) with the following information:

You have said both that they will contact me and that I should contact them. Please clarify which.
One thing I noticed based on yesterday's alert log is that it is happening once a minute at the exact same time (at :45 seconds). This makes no sense as there's nothing going on during that time and then it just stopped. See attached as an example.
Seems to me the camera is defective and should be replaced under warranty, I've had it only 3 months.
