Tapo detection zones don't work
Any update on when the zone detection on TAPO cameras will be fixed? it clearly doesn't work. Another post here details exactly the same problem i'm having.

Hi,
If you encounter the phenomenon that the event outside the detection zone triggers the camera's detection feature, please refer to Case 6 in the following instructions to troubleshoot.
What should I do if my Tapo camera triggers false detection?
Please confirm the following information for further analysis if the same phenomenon persists.
1. Please send us the screenshots of the camera's Device Settings > Detection page, detection zone page, and the enabled detection types pages.
2. Please send us a video showing that the event outside the detection zone triggered the camera's detection feature. What kind of detection is triggered (such as person, vehicle, etc.)?
You can upload the video and screenshots to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.
Best Regards

@Solla-topee Thank you. I will get the pictures sent.
However, why is this effecting the detection zone? Surely this should be sensitivity within the zone? The whole purpose of these zones is that it only focuses on that area, but if this effects outside the zone it makes it rather pointless.
3. Adjust Sensitivity Settings: Sometimes lowering the detection sensitivity can help reduce reactions to movements that are near but outside your defined zone.
Thanks
