Hi

I have a c220 and its been working fine and connected to our home WiFi. On Friday 5th December its suddenly stopped working and cannot find our WiFi network name . We haven't changed any of our home WiFi settings and when trying to connect /set it up, it cannot locate our WiFi name. I have tried entering them manually but it says unsuccessful, move it closern passwoed might be wrong. I have tried rescanning over and over, moved it nearer the router as possible  have uninstalled and uninstalled the Tapo app to no avail. The only thing I think it might be, is that it says it can only connect with 2.4ghz, I think looking at our network settings, our is 5ghz but I dont know why its all of a sudden stopped working after 2yrs. Has this happened to anyone else? It might be we have to get new cameras but I find this frustrating.  How do we know which cameras will work on 5ghz, is it stated on the description of cameras? Any advice?

Hi, I created a thread for the C200 and the C325WB with the same problem as you but I haven't received an answer yet, it stopped working and even doing a reset doesn't solve the situation, it continues to give me the offline message and not even the camera's wifi can find it during the configuration phase and all this is frustrating. It seems that for some unknown reason the cameras go offline by themselves because they block after a while by always being on, sometimes removing and inserting the power resets them, you can see here

Hi,
Typically, on the camera's specifications page on our official website, you can find that the camera supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or 2.4 & 5 GHz Wi-Fi. The Tapo C220 supports 2.4 GHz WI-Fi only.

If your router supported 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi before but only has 5 GHz Wi-Fi now, it's suggested to contact your router's technical support to see if they can make your router's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi work again.

For the Tapo C220, if it can't find the router's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi during setup, can it find other 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks in the environment? You can enable hotspot Wi-Fi on your phone, reset your camera, then configure it with another phone, and check whether you can connect it to the hotspot Wi-Fi.

Best Regards
