Hi,

Hi,
Yes, the expected compatibility date for Tapo C545D and H500 is January 2026. (However, please note that this date may change before the official firmware release.)

Hello,
I would like to ask whether there are any plans (or an upcoming firmware update) to allow the Tapo H500 hub to record video from the Tapo D235 doorbell directly to the hub.
The D235 is listed as a compatible device, but it seems that video recording to the H500 does not currently work the same way as with Tapo cameras.
Is full recording support for the D235 on the H500 planned for the future?
Thank you for your reply.

Hi,
The Tapo D235 supports storing video recordings on the H500 on the same network. If you have any problems when using them together, we suggest starting a new thread here to post your detailed usage scenario and questions for assistance.
