Is there a solution without changing my user account for the application?
Wouldn't it be possible to have Tapo installed multiple times on our phones?

As shown in the instructions below, the shared account can only access the Live View, Talk, Voice Call, Pan/Tilt Control, and the SD Card Video features of the camera.
How to share Tapo Smart Devices with family
For the feature request to adjust permissions for the shared account, you can vote and leave your comments on the thread "grant/deny permissions for a shared device" for evaluation.
If you want to install two or more Tapo apps on the same phone, it's recommended to contact your phone's support team for assistance.
